Aries March 21 – April 19
I am
Aries is the first astrological sign in the zodiac, a cardinal fire sign that represents the initial flame or spark, and the birth of spring. Red in the painting symbolizes not only the passion and the overall energy of the sign, but it represents fire and the sign’s ruler, Mars. Spring is represented by the flowers and the individual flame the initial spark.
Taurus April 20 – May 20
I have
Taurus is a fixed earth sign and considered the anchor of the zodiac enjoying stability and consistency. This characteristic is represented by the way the bull is grounded to the earth. The color palette represents the fertility of Spring and the sign’s need to be surrounded by serene, bucolic environments. On the lower right-hand side, a female form appears representing its ruling planet Venus, which gives Taurus it’s pleasure seeking characteristic, love for beauty, money, and luxury.
Gemini May 21 – June 20
I think
Gemini is a mutable air sign, and its symbol is the twins. The colors that represent the sign are yellow and yellow green. Gemini, being a mutable sign, is adaptable and flexible in nature. Ruled by Mercury, Geminis are communicative, highly intelligent, and intellectual. The painting represents this flexibility and need for communication by the intertwined forms and connectivity between the two.

Cancer June 21 – July 22
I feel
Cancer is a cardinal water sign represented by the crab and ruled by the moon.
Water has been used to symbolize emotion and the moon intuition. This painting represents those aspects of Cancer. High emotional awareness connects them to their surroundings. The crab shell forming the face represents their need to protect themselves and burrow safely in their space, while the overall blues stand for their emotional and intuitive world.

Leo July 23 – August 22
I do
Leo is a fixed fire sign ruled by the sun. Leos look at the world from a central point of view, just like its ruler, the sun, is the center of our system. Leos see themselves as pivotal and lead with generosity, warmth and strength. This painting represents that inner force, the active, creative, warm force. It is a burning sun that at the same time can represent the lion’s mane.

Virgo August 23 – September 22
I analyze
Virgo is a mutable earth sign ruled by Mercury. Virgo is known for its perfectionism, always in pursuit of improvement, responsibility and hard work. This painting is about the symbols that are usually seen with this sign. It is represented by harvest, by a woman carrying a sheaf of wheat symbolizing wisdom and representing the harvest of the wheat at the time of the year. The circular form represents completion. The colors represent earth.

Libra September 23 – October 22
I balance
Libra is a cardinal air sign ruled by Venus. Libras are known for, among other characteristics, keeping the balance, for being diplomatic, for loving beauty and avoiding conflict. This painting represents balance and beauty by the mandala-like imagery surrounding her head. The blindfolds are a symbol for justice.

Scorpio October 23 – November 21
I desire
Scorpio is a fixed water sign ruled by Pluto and Mars. Scorpio is sexual, resourceful, powerful, brave and passionate sign. Highly emotional since it is a water sign. This painting talks about the influences Mars and Pluto have over this sign. Pluto is the planet of transformation and regeneration. Mars is carnal, a planet of action, aggression and combat. The imagery in this painting is a representation of the carnal transcending into the sublime. Hidden among the fleshy forms on the lower left-hand side is a Scorpio symbolizing a lower density energy, a more carnal state. The figure on the top represents the transfiguration from the dense to the ethereal.
Sagittarius November 23 – December 21
I see
Sagittarius is a mutable fire sign ruled by Jupiter. Sagittarius enthusiasm and curiosity has no boundaries. They are considered the travelers of the zodiac and lovers of the outdoors. This is sign of individuals who are often preoccupied with mental work, but when they find grounding, they show their ability to transform visions and thoughts into concrete actions and circumstances. The painting represents those open spaces and limited horizon, the need for nature and adventure.

Capricorn December 22 – January 19
I use
Capricorn is a cardinal earth sign ruled by Saturn. Capricorn is well known for being the ambitious, hard-working sign. Just like Saturn, it is disciplinary and goal oriented. The painting depicts a suit and tie individual surrounded by ladders and building-like structures in what would normally be the head. These are all symbols representing the need to climb the ladder of success, for reaching goals, of ambition.

Aquarius January 20 – February 18
I know
Aquarius is a fixed air sign ruled by Uranus. Traditionally, Aquarius is represented by the water bearer, a symbol of the universe or gods bringing essential nutrients to the Earth. Aquarius is a sign that personifies advancement, self-reliance, and optimism. Uranus is the awakener, bringing reform and unpredictable changes. The painting depicts the forward-thinking mind of the sign, a mind creating reform and nourishing humanity.

Pisces February 19 – March 20
I believe
Pisces is a mutable water sign ruled by Neptune. Pisces is an emotionally sensitive, gracious and emotionally aware sign. Pisces is highly creative, empathetic, and generous as well. The painting is focused on the creative, imaginative, artistic aspect of this sign represented by the inner world expanding towards the outside. The creativity is depicted as not being able to be contained. Artistic creation.
